The noise sounds like its from the passenger side so that makes me think those two are the culprit.

Dealership says it is covered under the #16-NA-32 Bulletin on common engine noises Duramax 6.6L, but this is not the ticking or cycling that I have heard on my previous Duramax.

It has started making a clicking/ticking sound that can be heard in the cab pretty good and once window is rolled down, it is even louder. It sounds like it is coming from the rear end or bed area.

At long last GM contacted me yesterday and advised that they are working on a repair for the throbbing/knocking sound a lot of 2020 Duramax owners are currently experiencing. They advised that the Dealership will be in touch with me when they have a repair bulletin.

On the 2020 there are two belts now and the fan is by itself. GMTECH link has a small description on the problem but no resolution. What you are describing is the common type writer tick. Very common after an oil change. Basically you get some air trapped in the lifter oil passage and it takes a bit of time for it to work out. The Silverado book says it was filled with "Dexos" but the LGH and LML Duramax Diesel supplement book says to use API CJ-4 oil. There are no stickers under the hood near the dipstick/oil fill to indicate either.
